Undergraduate Travel Awards

Undergraduate travel grants from the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) support students presenting research and creative projects at conferences and exhibitions. The individual requesting travel must be registered as an undergraduate student in good standing at the University of Central Florida at the time of travel. Students must be the primary presenters for the presentation. OUR defines a primary presenter as the first author listed on the acceptance letter. This means that we will only fund one student per poster or presentation.

Please note: Students applying for a Travel Award will need to be able to provide a copy of their acceptance to the conference, which must list them as the primary author. Travel awards are limited to one per fiscal year per student.

The funds for these awards are provided by the Office of Undergraduate Research and the Burnett Honors College.

This form is for individual primary presenters traveling to a conference:

This form is for a group of current UCF students who are primary presenters of separate research or creative projects who are going to the same conference. For example, three authors with three separate posters all go to the Southeast Psychological Association (SEPA) conference. What does not qualify: a group of three students presenting one poster.
